KNOW
God is not some distant cosmic being or some capricious judge ready to slap us down. Instead we are precious to Him and He desires for us to know Him personally and intimately. We understand that people are in different points in this journey of knowing God so we offer many different opportunities.
Sunday Worship
Our two Sunday morning gatherings are designed to guide people in meeting God. Skilled musicians use contemporary music to encourage and uplift people spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. Gifted teachers explain the Bible in practical and relevant terms. Multimedia and drama are used to enhance the themes or teachings of the day.
Children’s Church
While adults are worshipping and learning, our children meet together with those of their own age led by screened volunteers. These committed men and women lead children in getting to know God, Jesus Christ and the Bible through games, activities, stories, crafts and other things geared to their age level. At the same time, they assist children in developing relationships with other children of the church.
Addictions Recovery & Family Support Groups
These groups provide loving support and genuine caring for those struggling with the chaos of addictive behavior. Our primary purpose is to share the healing truth of God’s word as it applies to our lives. We study the bible to know better God’s will for us as it relates to solving our problems. We seek to know Jesus Christ as He is the answer to the thirsts of our soul.
Youth Group Nights
Junior and senior high school students meet on Wednesdays at 6:45pm for an opportunity to grow in their relationship to God. They play some games, sing and worship, interact, and learn from the Bible regarding topics relevant to their lives today. Our goal is to encourage teenagers to know Jesus, serve Him, and share Him with others.
Youth Retreats
Getting away from routine is a great way for students to develop independence, get to know other students better, and have a significant quantity of time to focus on their relationship with God. During the year, there are several opportunities for students to take part in these potentially life changing weekends. There are retreats specifically for either Jr. High or Sr. High students so young people can be a part of a group with activities designed for their age level. The retreats involve traveling together, bunking with other kids in dorm type environments, and hearing tremendous music and teaching from gifted musicians and leaders. Other retreats are train students to lead others, plan, set up and run events for their peers. These retreats provide young people with a chance to step out and give back and minister to other students.
Adult Retreats
Men, women’s and even marriage weekend retreats provide yearly getaways for spiritual rejuvenation. These retreats provide both opportunities for reflective time alone and encouraging times together. Each stresses interaction with the Bible as a means to know God better.
School of Christian Growth
For those who desire more concentrated study, classes are offered throughout the year. These classes cover both theological (e.g., prophecy, Jewish feasts & festivals, attributes of God, etc…) and practical (e.g., money management, conflict resolution, etc…) issues.
Ministry Study Program
For those who sense God’s call into full-time ministry, a 3 year program is offered through the Christian & Missionary Alliance to provide Biblical education, ministry training, and personal coaching.
