IMPACT
The church is to be a reflection of Jesus Christ to the world around it. Jesus calls His people into His church to be used together to guide others closer to Him. It begins in the local community and extends to counties, regions, nations, and beyond.
Hope for the Hungry
More than 700,000 people experience hunger each year in New Jersey. Our food pantry provides food weekly for those of our area who are hungry or hunger stressed. Fully staffed and sponsored by those of Hope Chapel, it is an expression of our passion to show the love of Jesus.
New Hope Recovery
We are addicts who have found a new life in Jesus Christ or family members of addicts who’ve found freedom in the midst of chaos. Devoted to helping men, woman, and their families experience this same freedom we share our dynamic recovery, hope, and new life with others.
Women of Hope Resource Center
Women often struggle with personal issues and have no idea where to turn. Abuse, depression, addiction, poverty all tend to overwhelm. Our affiliate ministry serves as a reference point for women in need or crisis.
After School Clubs
Hope Chapel is active in the elementary schools of Pine Hill providing a Bible based after school club. These clubs meet for 75 minutes weekly 6 to 12 times per semester. Kids have an after school snack, and trained teachers lead the children in music, stories, games and a lesson that teachers children about the Bible, and building a moral foundation for life’s choices.
Introduction to Christianity Community Groups
Rather than shove a form of religion at people we prefer to share about Jesus in a relational fashion. These small groups allow those who are interested in learning about God question and dialogue in a non-threatening social setting.
Short-Term Missions Trips
Adults and teenagers make trips every year to Mexico, the Dominican Republic, South America, or needy areas within the USA. Their desire is to make some difference, as small as it may be, in the world around us. Our church partners with missionaries around the globe who offer medical services, food, Bible translation, literacy training, child care, and spiritual development.
Youth Community Service Projects
Throughout the year, there are different opportunities for students to get involved with peers to help those who are either less fortunate. This involves raking the leaves for seniors, putting on community fairs, helping at a nursing home, baking treats for local organizations, etc…. The goal is to broaden students’ minds, to help them see the needs of the world around them, and encourage them to live as ambassadors of Jesus Christ to those around them.
Worship Band Community Service Events
Our talented musicians often play in the local area doing coffee houses, community services, and fundraisers for charities.
International Missions Home Church
This monthly group keeps in touch with missionaries outside the USA for prayer and support. They keep the rest of the church informed and aware of what God is doing outside the USA and how we can partner with Him.
